Dubai's Museum of the Future has been flooded with interest in its Future Perfects hiring drive. It received more than 20,000 completed applications in just 48 hours, WAM reported, in a story carried by Gulf News on 24 October 2026. The campaign website logged 42,000 visits in the same two days.

Because of the rush, online applications are now closed for the time being. The good news: you can still apply in person at an audition pod until the 8 November 2026 deadline.

What changed

Before Now
Apply online through the portal Online forms paused; audition in person at a pod
Deadline 8 November 2026 Deadline still 8 November 2026

The official site tells candidates to take a short quiz and leave their details, after which the museum explains where to find the nearest audition pod. Pod locations and opening hours are not listed publicly, so you need to complete the quiz to find out.

The jobs

The roles are full-time positions in the museum's Visitor Experience team. Staff will guide visitors through ideas about science, technology, nature, society and the future, ahead of a reimagined museum experience opening in 2027.

You do not need any museum or customer service background. Instead, the museum is looking for:

  • Imagination and curiosity
  • Emotional intelligence and warmth
  • Adaptability
  • Being good with people

Chief operating officer Azza AlNuaimi said the early response showed strong demand for careers that value human potential beyond what appears on a CV.

The selection steps

  1. Audition in person – answer one question on camera in about four minutes; there is nothing to prepare.
  2. Shortlist – the team reviews auditions and contacts selected candidates.
  3. Assessment – shortlisted people attend a group screening at the museum.
  4. Start work – successful candidates begin their first shift as a Future Perfect.

The museum's recruitment team has already started reviewing applications.

How to apply

Go to the official site at futureperfects.museumofthefuture.ae, take the quiz and leave your details to get audition pod information. Do this well before 8 November 2026.

What it means for job seekers

  • Competition is high. With 20,000+ applicants, your personality on camera matters most.
  • Be natural. The museum says there is nothing to prepare, so speak openly and with energy.
  • Act fast. Pods may be busy as the deadline nears.
  • Use only the official site. Ignore social media pages or agents offering "guaranteed" places.
