Through its partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, State Street is building links with UAE universities. It expects to identify possible graduate recruits in the first quarter of 2027, ahead of the opening.

What it means for job seekers

  • Emirati graduates should get ready now. Finance, accounting, IT and data students are the natural fit for the first intake.
  • Experienced UAE residents have a chance too. About a third of jobs are expected to go to people already in the UAE job market.
  • Operations experience counts. Back-office work in banking, funds or payments is directly useful.
  • Al Ain is growing as a jobs hub. Living costs are lower than in Abu Dhabi city or Dubai.
