Which jobs were on offer

The openings went well beyond sales. Employers were looking for people in:

  • Real estate brokerage and sales
  • Property and facilities management
  • Valuation and consulting
  • Accounting and finance
  • Some part-time posts for students
  • A smaller number of senior and executive roles

No salary figures were published, but private sector jobs taken by Emiratis can be supported by the federal Nafis programme.

A growing pipeline for Emiratis

This was not a one-off. DLD says more than 2,100 Emiratis have joined the Dubai property sector since 2023. Its Tamkeen Real Estate Programme set a goal of 500 placements a year and has been reaching more than 800. The first group on DLD's Real Estate Diploma has 103 students, far above the target of 40.

How to apply

The employment day itself is over, and no single official online application page was published for it. Emiratis who missed it should:

  1. Register on the Nafis platform and keep the profile updated.
  2. Follow DLD's official channels for the next Real Estate Day and Tamkeen Real Estate intake.
  3. Apply directly on the careers pages of large developers such as Emaar and Danube.

What it means for job seekers

  • Property is hiring nationals. With strong Emiratisation targets, real estate firms are actively seeking UAE talent.
  • You don't need sales experience. Accounting, valuation and management roles were all on the list.
  • Get licensed. A RERA broker qualification or the DLD diploma makes you far more attractive.
  • Students can start early with part-time roles while studying.
