Who is behind it

The fair is run by the Regional Labour Office in Lublin together with EURES – the European Employment Services network – and public employment services from across Europe. EURES advisers help people move to jobs in other EU and EEA countries and can explain things like pay, contracts and living costs abroad.

Who can attend

The event is open to:

  • job seekers of any background
  • students and recent graduates
  • anyone thinking about building a career elsewhere in Europe

European employers will present their current vacancies. The organisers have not published a list of companies or the number of jobs.

How to apply

There is no online registration form listed. Simply go to the venue during opening hours with your CV. The EURES event page lists contacts at the Lublin labour office for questions.

What it means for job seekers

  • Bring several CVs in English (and Polish if you can), using the Europass format if possible.
  • Ask EURES advisers about contracts, accommodation and social security before you accept an offer abroad.
  • Check your rights. EU and EEA citizens can work freely in other member states; non-EU citizens usually need a work permit arranged with the employer.
  • Can't attend? EURES runs online job days throughout the year and has a Europe-wide job portal.
  • Beware of fees. Genuine EURES services are free – never pay to get a job abroad.

Poland itself is attracting new investment – see Pratt & Whitney's new plant in Rzeszów. For official job portals elsewhere, read our guide to jobs in Finland for foreigners.
