What it means if you are in the Gulf
- Category draws are your best chance. French speakers and skilled trades workers have been invited with much lower scores than general draws. Recent French draws cut off at 435 and trades at 476.
- Language scores move the needle. A stronger IELTS General, CELPIP-General or PTE Core result can add many points. See: which English tests count for Express Entry.
- Check your occupation's TEER level before building a profile. See: Canada NOC and TEER explained.
- More changes are coming. From 3 November, high-wage job offers can earn more points. See: Express Entry changes on 3 November.
