Federal government
The federal portal lists jobs at federal ministries and authorities, such as Emirates Health Services, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), the UAE Space Agency and the Federal Tax Authority. You register with your email, upload your CV and fill in your personal details.
Dubai
Dubai Careers is the Dubai Government's main hiring portal. Have these ready:
- CV in PDF or Word format
- Emirates ID and passport copy
- Educational certificates
Abu Dhabi
The central TAMM service is for Emiratis over 18, using UAE Pass. Expats apply directly to individual entities, for example:
- SEHA (Abu Dhabi Health Services)
- Department of Municipalities and Transport
- Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK)
- Department of Economic Development
- Abu Dhabi Digital Authority
Sharjah
As in Abu Dhabi, the central service is for Emiratis. Expats apply on the careers pages of bodies such as Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, Sharjah Airport, Sharjah Ports and the Department of Public Works.
Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah
- Ajman Kawader: sign in with UAE Pass or an email account, complete your profile (experience, qualifications, training, skills) and apply.
- RAK Careers: you need an Emirates ID number to register, plus a CV, certificates and passport number. You can set alerts for new jobs.
Tips for applying
- Read the eligibility line first. Many government roles are reserved for UAE nationals under Emiratisation.
- Keep your degree attested, since government employers often ask for it.
- Applying is free. Anyone charging a fee for a "government job" is likely a scam. See: Warning signs of a fake UAE job offer.
- Portal addresses can change, so reach them from each government's official website.
