How selection works
- Apply online. Create a profile on the Emirates Group careers website. Emirates uses it to invite candidates to recruitment events in or near their city.
- Attend an open day or assessment day. These are held in person only. Emirates does not run online assessment days.
- Group activities. Expect teamwork, communication and problem-solving exercises.
- Individual interview. Questions focus on why you want the role and your customer service experience.
- Training in Dubai. Successful candidates complete roughly seven and a half weeks of training before flying.
If you cannot attend on your invited date, reply to the invitation email to ask for another one.
What to bring
- An updated CV
- Photo ID. If you don't have a passport yet, a national ID or driving licence is fine for the event; a passport is requested after selection.
Tips from the requirements
- Count your customer service experience carefully. Hotel, restaurant, retail and call-centre jobs all count as customer-facing work.
- Practise the reach test on your toes: 212 cm, with one arm.
- Prepare examples of handling difficult customers and working in a team. These come up in the interview.
Stay safe
